KNX

KNX is the open standard (ISO/IEC 14543-3) for building and home automation: lighting, HVAC, blinds, access control and energy on a single bus. It is decentralized: every device is intelligent and talks to the others without a mandatory central controller.
It runs mainly over twisted pair (KNX TP), but also over powerline, radio frequency (KNX RF) and IP (KNXnet/IP). Its certification guarantees interoperability across thousands of products from hundreds of manufacturers.
