With Ignition, LoRaWAN data arrives over MQTT from the network server, so the MQTT modules, the topics and where payloads get decoded are part of your project. Cloud Studio IoT connects directly to the main LoRaWAN network servers and decodes payloads with its codec library, so a new sensor shows up as a device with its variables.
A web SCADA with Ignition starts with the Platform and Perspective licenses ($12,425) plus 20% a year of TotalCare, a server and usually an integrator project. Cloud Studio IoT is a monthly subscription from €100 with hosting, dashboards, alerts, reports and the mobile app included.
Cloud Studio IoT is organized by sites and client portals from the start, with white label for integrators who resell the platform. That fits utilities, smart city and service companies monitoring assets spread over hundreds of locations.
