Weather stations
Cloud Studio IoT reads weather stations from their manufacturer's cloud. The platform calls the manufacturer's API with keys the station owner creates, and hands each response to the device model's script, which maps the fields to endpoints. Nothing changes on site: the stations keep publishing where they already do.
The readings land on the same dashboards, alarms and reports as the rest of your devices, for example next to LoRaWAN soil moisture sensors.
Supported manufacturers
- Ecowitt: through the Ecowitt cloud API v3. Imports the history Ecowitt holds.
- Davis WeatherLink: through the WeatherLink v2 API. Reads current conditions.
Both are set up the same way: keys in the client's Integrations tab and one device per station.
